-The shoes squeeze me at the end of the day.
-When I wake up and manage to leave, the rings do not fit.
-If I squeeze a little, my skin takes time to return to its color.

Many people are familiar with one or more of the above points. It seems to be an issue from time to time, but no, fluid retention is very common. For some people, taking diuretics as if they were candy is the solution and it is not.

What is fluid retention? In general terms, your body is protecting you and doing your job, and many times you may be struggling against something; Others may be looking to level the fluctuation of liquids and minerals. Instead of “plugging” this hold, it is better to support your body in the process and eliminate what might be causing it. Pharmacological resources are not the panacea; However, everything that comes from nature will always be more effective, because it is wise.

A person taking diuretics is more likely to have a fluid retention problem for longer than one that goes to the root problem. Here are some of the main reasons:

-Dehydration:The body knows that there are no liquids and is prepared by storing all possible liquids.
-Hormonal problems. Ask yourself: what am I doing that my body has to react in this way?
-Incorrect feeding. Excess unstable fats, unnecessary irritants, eat when you are not hungry? Listen to your body and eat healthy.
-Physical inactivity. Come on! A daily walk not only helps you decrease fluid retention, it also activates your digestive system and will make you feel much better.
-Infections. When they appear, sometimes comes the retention of liquids and, as you probably know, also the high temperature: they are processes to defend you.

Strengthening your body requires more observation, more work, yes, but the results are extremely longer lasting. Take note, this will help:

Hydrate. Take at least 1 liter of water when you wake up and drink more during the day.
Parsley tea. Take it three times a day if necessary. This is super useful when you have fluid retention or transient inflammation – not pathological – and supports hormonal processes.

Do good without doing evil in your body; Diuretics help for very limited times and make organs work without need. Of course, if the fluid retention in your case is continuous – pathological – then check what you are doing and take action on it.

As always, remember: you are your best doctor
